Sportsmen, 16-13 Tryon’s All-Stars today began

preparing for their ninth game of the season after winning a 16 to 13 victory over the Chicago Sportsmen at CYO Stadium yesterday afternoon.

It was the eighth straight vie-

A crowd of 2600 watched the Tryon squad score two touchdowns in the first half and a safety in the final period while the Sportsmen marked up two touchdowns in the final half. The first Tryon score came on 8 10-yard pass and a lateral. It was the former famed Hanover College passing duet that started the action for the score.. Dave Peterson flipped the short pass to Bill Klein. Klein lateraled to Orville Williams for the score.
