That's what is in store for participants in the Match the Twins contest. It starts today, with the 10 pictures on this page.

t's easy to enter—merely get the 100 pictures published

in The Times on this and nine succeeding Sundays. Ten pictures

are published each Sunday.

It's easy to participate—merely match each picture to the

picture you think is the twin. You can start matching them now.

It's a little more difficalt to get them all right—but then,

how else would it be fun?

The 53 Persons getting the -highest number of correct

matches will win cash prizes. Awards total $1000.

The Times will present the prizes.

There are NO gimmicks . .. no box tops to submit... no

soap or shoes or salami to buy. All it takes is a TRY.

Tell your friends about it! Challenge other members of the

family to see who is the sharpest twin spotter.

‘When the fun is over and judges are worn haggard, The Times will publish the correct matching of the 50 sets of twins.

Match the Twins Coniesi—Follow These Rules

I—The Indianapolis Times will award $1000 in gosh to the winners of the Match The Twins Contest. Prizes are: First, $500. Second, $100. Third, $50. 20 Awards of yo each. 30 Awards of $5 each. 2—The contest is open to all residents of Indiana except em- _ ployees of The Times and their families. Only one prize will be awarded to any one person. : 3-—The contest opens Sunday, Oct. 29, 1950. Ten individual pictures ‘will be published in The Sunday Times for 10 consecutive Sundays. The total will be 100 individual pictures, or 50 sets of twins. : 4—Each person pictured will be the twin of another person whose picture will be published at some time during the contest. Some twins will be pictured on the same day, while others will -not. Participants are to match each picture of g twin’ with the picture of the other twin." ~ 5—Paste or in some way soaurely fasten each matching pair of twin pictures on a single sheet of paper. All 50 sheets are to

be fastened together. Print your name and address on each sheet. 6—DO NOT SEND IN YOUR ENTRY UNTIL ALL PICTURES HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED. The final set will appear in The Sunday Times on Sunday, Dec. 31. With this final set will appear a master score sheet on which you will enter the numbers of your matching twins. 7—Accuracy in matching twins will be the chief consideration in judging the 53 winners. . The person accurately matching the most twins wins first prize; next best gets second prize, and so forth. If two or more participants tie for prizes, they will be given an additional group of pictures fo match and be asked to write a short statement about The Times. 8—After all pictures have been published, mail entries to Twins Contest, The Times, 214 W. Maryland St. All entries must

be postmarked before midnight, Jan. 10, 1951. Entries must be mailed with first class postage fully paid.

9—In entering the contest, the participant agrees to accept the decisions of the judges as final and understands that The Times cannot return entries.
