An organization as large as the Camp Fire Girls initiating this Halloween tradition should make it fairly well known nationally, This is the way it is done, Each child makes up a bag of cookies, a box of fudge, or a carton of doughnuts, and when they are dressed in their Halloween costumes, they gathér for a typical trick or treat evening. nt A “Trick or Treat” night is when a group goes from house no house in masked costume knocking at neighborhood doors. When the door is answered the children say, “Trick or Treat,” and if the lady of the house does not have some treat to pass around, they may ring a bell or soap a window. “Trick or Treat” in reverse seems to me to be more friendly, happy way for all. Surprise the person who answers the door by: offering them some of your “goodies.” The chances are that they will treat you, too! TRY IT this year, and see the surprise on their faces, TOMORROW—“Twirling Buttons” for party favors.
