| i WINNER OF THE WEEK Jes. JOSEPH SMITH No. CAMBRIDGE MASS.

Mrs. Joseph Smith of North Cambridge, Mass., sent in dozens of wonderful ideas in an old, old book found in her attic, As I visit newspapers all over the U. 8 and Canada, I spend hours looking in old book stores for craft and hobby books to add to my collection. Take a card about one and one-half inches wide and fold a two« inch strip of plain paper around it to make a sliding cover for the card and mouth holes, then slip the case back on the card, and mark the eyes and mouth, Remove the case, and carefully draw the eyes and cut the tongue flap to extend out of the mouth, Put the twa pieces together, and slide the case on the card with the tongue Lt hanging out. Isn't it comical? TOMORROW—Toss ping-pong bally Cope. 1950 by United Postar Syndionte, bas. . 1 at Jack-O'-Lanterns,
