SWEET= ONE-HALF INCH WIDE Many boys and girls plan hikes during all seasons of the yean When you go hiking a great deal of pleasure comes from taking along a few gadgets to make your hike more interesting, If you have a compass, learn how to use it, and if you have a scout knife, whittle as you rest, but don’t carry too many things, This little belt hanger will keep your pockets free for goliecting, An old leather boot tongue or any strip of leather or innertube about two by six inches will serve as your hanger, Each hanger strap should be cut about a half inch wide and four or five inches long. When the strap is slit down the center to within three-eighths of the end, you can slip any small ringed gadget through the slit to fasten it. The knife illustration shows how this is done by first putting the strap through the loop and then slipping the object through the slit, Two slots at the top will make it possible to slip your beit through and hang your gadgets at your side ready for use, Try one on your next hike, TOMORROW-—Dress Your Dolls for Halloween,
