Most every year your Scout Troop or Community Clubs hold

some kind of vaudeville show. All ages can participate, and ama-« teur performers get an opportunity to express their hidden ambi« tions for acting. This novelty act can be a huge success if time Is taken to work out details of costume and staging. Your knees do not have to be pretty, in fact boys’ knobby, hairy, legs add to the fun. Paint each others knees to represent characters, and dress the lower sections of your legs to fit the part. Bow ties, garters, silk stockings, shoes, and crepe paper, may be used in costuming. Lip stick, rouge, burnt cork, and eye brow pencil, may be used to make the facial expressions. All legs can be dressed alike too, to represent a chorus, and the “girls” who are participating can do simple dance steps and put on a dance routine while singing a tune.

The stage curtain can be made of blankets, or a regular curtain

can be lowered to knee level. The performers sit om covered chairs, which serve as a back drop, and go through their act, knee high! Tomorrow—A Secret From an Old Book.
