Flashlight Prevents Falls, Danger

Unlighted Places Cause Accidents

* Darkness means danger, particularly in the home where unlighted places are often the cause of accidents. i This was evident from recent surveys disclosing that Inside as well as outside the home a flashlight is a virtual “must” for night-time home safety and convenience. Good rules are: ONE: Carry flashlights on dark stairw ays to prevent falls, TWO: If you walk on highways at night, carry a flashlight. THREE: Don’t ride a bicycle at pight without a flas t. FOUR: Keep two flashlights in your car; one for tires, one for safety signalling by your! companion. | FIVE: A handy flashlight in the kitchen will light up outside "chores at night or trips to the cellar. | SIX: A luminous flashlight) near the bed eliminates stumbling and groping for light switches, | SEVEN: A flashlight will help] you find the right medicine In darkened bathroom cabinets, or to make a throat examination. EIGHT: Use a flashlight when gas fumes are suspected to prevent fire or explosion, i NINE: Use a flashlight when you are changing electrical fuses’ to avoid touching exposed contacts, | TEN: When you check nursery or baby's crib, use flashlight to prevent glare.
