The Marion County Welfare Department today requested $839,700 to operate during the remaining three months of 1950 Welfare officiala asked the County Council to appropriate the funds in excess of $4.822.080 already appropriated for this vear. These figures have no effect upon the $7 million asked by the department for next year.
