The Marion County Tax Board yesterday hacked 15-cents from the proposed 75 cents Perry Township school tax rate in the face of oral protesting from Perry officials. . A five-year school improvement plan in Perry will suffer, the officials warned, if the taxes are cut. The plan began in 1948 to raise $1 million for a junior high

Pending New Hearing The Jehovah Witness case was continued indefinitely yesterday, but a temporary injunction issued two weeks ago will remain in force until the case is resumed. The injunction was obtained by Robert Quinn, minister of the religious group, to restrain city police from breaking up their meetings in city parks. Marion Circuit Judge Lloyd D. Claycombe ruled yesterday that attorneys for the religious group would have to summon witnesses properly before the trial may proceed. ’ . Leaders of the sect have been
