‘Mr. Shaw had a good night and his condition this morning is satisfactory. He is able to move his injured leg freely, and stood or -a: few seconds, taking his weight on the sound leg.” The playwright seemed to be making ‘a remarkable. recovery from. an -accident, which might have been fatal to persons many years younger. : ‘Complete Success’ An early hospital bulletin said the operation was a success” and that Mr. Shaw was his usual bright, witty self. He kidded the nurses and the doctors and raised a howl because he was bathed too often.
