The history of this stalwart goes back to the fall of 1947. That year he- tried for a halfback __Pposition and came out with a sprained ankle. . He had a hankering to be a fullback the first day of practice in 1948. On the field of battle he left some skin off his nose. Oh, and a helmet and the back of a sweatshirt, # Last year the “Stumbling- Ghost” bucked the line all morning. It was a brilliant show. In the Middle of Things
