DR. ANSWERS—
Question: My son recently told me of a woman who has arthritis and rheumatism and was cured by a grape diet. Can this really happen? Answer: There are any number of fruits and vegetables like lemons and grapes which some people claim will cure rheumatism and arthritis, I do not know of any scientific reason why this should be true, and I strongly suspect that those who report that they have been helped by a grape diet or something like it would have gotten well anyway. If taking grapes makes them think that. they feel better, why not? It probably ‘won't do any harm.
