Convalescent children who are still in-bed or who | must remain quiet after an illness can make imaginary hands by the dozen. I can remember doing this when I was in school-—prob-ably when I was supposed to be doing arithmetic. ’ The first step is so simple and only requires a sheet of paper larger than your hand and a pencil. Place the hand flat on the paper and draw around it, ing the outline of the fingers and hand up to the wrist, including two or three inches of the arm. Yeo The fun comes now when you begin to draw rings on your } fingers and color on your fingernails. Use paints or crayeas for + this. Put bracelets or wrist watches on some of the wrists, Make right and left hands and put odd jewelry. Draw Indian silver with 2 blue turquoise settings and shade the hands a rich red brown, or be a fine lady with diamonds and lace cuffs.
