Several folks .around Gainesboro, Tenn, have been puzzled by Ada's trick, } __ To grow your own puzzle take a long, round bottle with a small neck, remove the label and clean, Now take a walk out { -to-the-cucumber-—pateh-and--find -a-hill-with--a--vine-that -has—a = cucumber small enough to fit into the neck of the bottle. Slip the cucumber into the bottle and lay it down by the vine, so that

the cucumber can mature right in the bottle. When it is grown and fills the bottle, break off the steam and wash out any insects or dirt which may have gotten into the bottle. For a lasting puzzle leave enough space in the bottle to fill with clear vinegar and pickle your cucumber, If you do not have a cucumber vine this year, save this trick for another year.
