NAIL TO BOARD

Hera TWO SWIVEL SWEET TOSS RUBBERS UPRIGHTS FROM 10-FOOT LINE FOR SUPPORTS

Charles Oviatt who is a 9-year-old in our summer day camp made this simple game for passing a cub scout test. In following the Wolf Trail, to get his Wolf Cub Scout Achievement, number 10 requires that the Cub make a homemade game and play it with his own family. Cubbing realizes the value of family fun and builds its whole program about the boy, his family and home.

Use the end of an orange or apple crate for the backboard. Remove all nails around the edges and give the board a coat of light paint. Paint five spools in light colors, and when the paint is dry, nail them, evenly spaced, onto the backboard. This is best done the day after painting. Nail on two 6-inch uprights to the sides so that they swivel on the nail, and you are ready to play.

Mark on the value of each spool, and toss fruit jar rubbers from a 10-foot line, Take turns using two rings each, and the first person to reach 200 wins the game. It's fun.
