If you have a play wagon it isn't necessary to wait to go on a ranch to eat “grub” prepared chuckwagon style. Veteran cowpunchers get up at five in the morning to start their day with a breakfast of golden brown hot cakes and bacon cooked by the cook at his “kitchen box,” fastened in the rear of the chuckwagon. The chuckwagon is the eating center for all of the cowpunchers who are working on the ranch. The cook carries water, all of his cooking utensils, and food in his wagon. You can take an orange crate or apple box and put your lunch supplies in it and have a picnic with the gang chuckwagon style. Dress up cowboy fashion and rig your wagon with branch bows arched to form a brace for a canvas or old sheet covering, and you will look like a real veteran cowpuncher. Get your buddies and put

up a typical ranch type gate with your “brand” painted on a piece:

of wood, and have a cowboy round up with “chow” prepared chuckwagon style. Fine for birthday parties. MONDAY: Toss Rings at Spool Boards.
