WINNER. OF THE WEEW JOSEPHINE MAMMOTH SPRINGS, ARN, Mrs. Guy Holland, of Mammoth Springs, Ark. the mother of several children, sends in this suggestion for you girls. As the WINNER OF THE WEEK she thought you teen-agers and ‘tween agers might enjoy.decorating your plain summer skirts with yous friends signatures, initials, and school letters. i Here is a winner who got her idea by keeping her ayes open. She saw a teen-age girl who had on an attractive skirt made of bleached domestic but any inexpensive white material could be a skirt, or perhaps you already have an odd one, On this girl had written her own name in the middle of the front as shown above. All over the skirt, slanting in different directions, she had written all of the names of her girl and boy friends, All of the names can be embroidered in simple chain or back stitch. Mother, Grandmother, or some woman friend can show you a simple stitch that you can do. Use different colors of em!
