HOLD A NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT

~ — ) ‘ER ; 5 Sweer'

Every summer for years we have held nature scavenger hunts. For the younger campers the list is short and the list is simple, but the older campers realiy have a nature test. In searche ing for their collection the group has such fun that they look forward to them each camp season. Too, without realizing it, they become saturated with knowledge of the woods. You boys and girls who are not going to camp will be sure prised at the list of nature possibilities. In most communities tree leaves, seeds, flowers, insects, and rocks or shells can be

found. Make up a list of the things that might be collected around

your home, and then ask some adult to choose and make a list for your contest. This makes a good scout or party game if the objects are selected with care. Give each person a list, and limit thé contest to one hour. Partners may wprk together, and a double prize may be offered to the team who completes their collection first or has the most at the end of an hour. Good hunting! —-MONDAY-—Ink Faces on
