‘The Golden Gloves Story,” a {motion picture recently released, is coming to town and the op|eration of the nation's most pops [ular amateur boxing tournament goes on display. The annual Golden Gloves Tournament is sponsored locally by The Indianapolis Times and the Robison Ragsdale Post of the American Legion. Prior to the showing of the picture, two bouts, involving Golden Gloves fighters, will be presented on the Lyric stage. The bouts will be fought according to Golden Gloves rules with regular referee, judges and timekeeper. Titleholder on Program In the first bout will be Dick Powell and Dick Ham, light weights. Ham won the novice featherweight championship in 1949. Powell was a novice chame pion in 1949 and participated in the open class this year.
