Many children in our camp have helped in the planting of both hardwoods and evergreens, and whén they returit as counselors, they point out with pride that they planted such and such a tree 10 or so years ago. They are surprised too to see that some of their quick growing trees are already 10 to 20 feet high. It is fun to measure the tree growth annually, and put ft at the side of a child's growth on a chart.
