No Damage Repored From 140-Mile Front SEATTLE, Wash, Apr. 14 {{UP) — A “sharp” earthquake! North Pacific sea- | board --early today, but first re-; ports on a 140-mile front said there was no damage. { The quake struck one year and! one day after a disastrous quake| killed eight persons, injured 65 others and caused upwards of $20 million damage. The shock was felt from Seattle to Vancouver, B. C., 132 miles north. Reports from police of five Pacific } Northwest cities said the quake occurred at 5:04 a. m.| (Indianapolis Time). Employees of the Pacific Tele-! phone and Telegraph Co. on the 13th floor of a Seattle building reported feeling a “distinct shock.” Workers on the sixth floor of the Western Union building said the shock made them clutch posts for support.
