Ends Controversy
The selection of St. Thomas ended a controversy which started two weeks ago when Mankato charged that the District 13 committee was illegal because it had only four members. The committee was reorganized last night and again selected St. Thomas. Nevada accepted the NAIB bid after a long discussion ‘over athletic finances, The other two teams added to the 32-team field were Vermillion z of-South Dakota and New Mexico > State C oliege.
