Department Head Dies Herhert E. Walker, classified advertising manager of The Times, is in Franklin, Pa. called there by the death of Hig mother, Mrs. Maud H. Walker, 84. Mrs. Walker, for 50 years a resident of Franklin, died Sunday night. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in Franklin. The son, Mr. Walker, lives at 4824 Broadway

A native of Carroll County, Ky Mrs. Palmer lived In Indianapolis 49 years. She was a member of Eighth Christian Church; Meta Council, Pocahontas; Monitor Temple, Pythian Sisters and Progress Rebekah Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leland P. Decker, Indianapolig, and Mrs. Ralph Rahm, Speedway City; two sisters, Mrs, Gertrude Long and ‘Mrs, Cora Pullium, Carroll County; a brother, Prentice Coghill, Indianapolis; two, grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
