By JEAN TABBERT THEY EVEN go to the movies in shifts, That's the secret behind the success of the Antique Shop Mary Jane and Marshall Brown run at 315 N. Sth Bt. in Zionsville. 5
A hobby that evolved into a business, antiques have always interested the couple. One or the other stays at home to — come friends or customers who drop in to see what's new. Hub of the pieces the Browns have for sale is a

the horse-drawn was collecting at the time. When the Browns decided to expand their love for old pieces into a paying proposition, they added an outside stairway to the structure. Now the lower floor—high-ceilinged to. ‘house the carriages—is used for the hodge-podge of glassware, china and sundry objects every self-respecting antique shop must carry, The low second floor holds mostly furniture pieces.
Haunted Farm Sales
A personnel officer at Alllson's from 1940-47, Marshall did the building in his spare time while Mary Jane handled the antiques proper. She went to farm sales, cleaned, marked and generally refurbished the
merchandise she found there. Now they're such old hands at it they run a special shop in Whitestown for refinishing furniture. Antiques are put in
their original condition there, too, and unfinished pieces sold.
"Newest portion of the antique shop, itself, is the general store corner. It will open tomorrow and be a replica of a similar setting in the 1875 period. Early lighting apnlidnces and furniture are Marshall's favorite part of the business, He sleeps in a walnut canopy bed, which belonged to Rezin Hammond, early Methodist circuit rider, who married Jonathan
