Howe's Fourth annual College Day is to be held on Nov. 30. The purpose of Col Day is to give
school assembly on College Day, students wil! hear Dr. Harold W. Richardson, presidentof Franklin College, who will speak on the topic, “Should I Go to College? Through the day, representatives rrom Purdue, Butler, Indiana and DePauw uni-
versities and Ball State College] will hold general conferences with] seniurs desiring to go to college. Parents are invited and urgéd to attend the assembly and the conferences.
Munching turkey will be the chief pastime of the coaching staff and various members of the football teams tonight at the athletic banquet. Following this event, important speeches will be made and letter awards given. Mr. Charles M. Sharp, principal, will Introduce Charles Teague, who will preside as toastmaster for the remainder of the evening. Each of the coaches

Mock Election
The Mock Election, held annually at Howe, started on Oct. 20 and ended Nov. 10 with the general election, The elected candidates are Morand Roth, governor; John Vollmer, lieutenant-gover-nor; Nancy Johns, secretary of state; Keith Newman, treasurer; Don Ross, attorney general; Wayne Engleman, auditor; Keith Quillen, reporter of courts; Jane
King, Bob Riley, Jack Wellman, Don Franz and Paul Campbell, judges of the supreme court; and
Kay Barry, Janice Sampson, Morgan Sly and Don Ward, judges of the appellate court. The Nationalists won over the Federalists, “Seventeenth Summer” is the pity chosen to be presented by the 1950 senior class, Jan. 26 and 27. The play is a dramatization by Anne Coulter Martens of Maureen 's famous novel. More than
four years ago attest its continuing appeal.
