The peasants of Lowiecz are most artistic and have an odd way of folding colored paper and snipping out patterns with which they build up pictures by pasting one color upon another. These are often used to decorate the beams and walls of their houses. The incredible part of this delicate work is that it is done with the untool with which they shear their sheep. The transportation exhibit, in addition to having the obvious vehicles, includes a sedan chair and a ‘wooden tricycle. Farewell Party

SALLY and Tom Kackley had a farewell gathering

"yesterday afternoon for Ar-

thella and Frank Fishback who leave Monday for their home in Coconut Grove, Fla. after spending the summer here. They never get out of touch with Indianapolis’ go-ings-on as by the end of the winter about half of their close friends seem to turn up in the vicinity of Miami. Speaking of transplanted Hoosfers; Nina and Gene Eddy recently celebrated their fifth anniversary in Summit, N. J., where they are now living. Nina's father, Garvin Brown, was there as well as

his sister, Cornelia Brown Edmiston. Among the younger pedple were Jim and Alice Vonnegut Adams, Ceci and Arturo Grassi and Liz Randles. : 1 spent last Sunday in New Haven, Conn., having gone on for our grandson's christening. The service was in Dwight Chapel and it looks as though young Charlie Clark is well on his way to being atn EM with his father, grandfathers and one great grandfather all Yale men. Two great - grandmothers were on hand Sunday to see that all went well. Gilbert Ogle drove with us to stand as one of the godfathers. He ‘went on to Buffalo where he visited Frances Ramsdell and saw Mary Beatty and Nelson Graves and got home the end of the week. We couldn’t have picked a lovelier time of year for a visit to New England. In spite of a very dull football game, it was a thrill just to sit in the bowl and see the color or the hills.
