girls ing for that ring and a visit with his parents. I doubt if his parents kndbw you exist. He knew you'd be touched by hearing they want you, I doubt if there’s a ring, or frequent car trouble. He needed excuses to avold marriage. You say you “won’t” believe you play “second fiddle.” But you really do believe it—and so does everyone else. He “acts” like he is jealous— you like to believe he really is. That's another excuse to avoid revealing his own activities. He’d make with heavy attention if he loved you. He'd see you often if he thought you might see other men. Being hunted by a man when he finds time for you isn’t flattering. He's only eight years older than you, but he’s years wiser. Grow up fast—face the situation honestly. Show that you understand him by having dates you're accused of having. You
May Solve Problem
For the past two years I have been a janitor. Recently my employer has been giving me more work thdh I can do, with the result that some of my duties go undone. I think this is unfair but I do mot want to complain and I don’t want to get bawled out for not doing my job. What would you suggest?
By JAMES GRAYSON Sit down with a pencil and paper and make a list of all the things you are supposed to do. Go over the list and rearrange them in the order of their importance. Then see that you do the important ones first. If it looks as if you'll never get certain ones done, maybe you'd better arrange to take a little time after your regular hours and do some of the tag-end duties. Once you get caught up you may be able to keep up.

Has Serious Problem
With Christmas coming, I have a serious problem. I have three or four boy friends and I see each a few times a week. My problem is important because I may pick one of these boys as my husband. Now should I buy gifts for all of them, or should I ignore the task? Would I be in a bad position if they should come up with gifts for me? What should I give as nice but impersonal gifts? Another Divorcee, City Seeing “three or four boy friends a few times a week” sounds like an awfully long week. The old weeks I'm used to don't have that many days. Maybe yours will have several Christmases, a new date for each. I suppose you would be embarrassed if they bought gifts— and you didn’t. 7 Bat you'd feel pust as silly if you bought extravagantly and received mome at all. This is a real problem. You can’t give a party inviting them all, stressing “gift exchange” and a price. (That might keep narrow the confusing field, though.) I hope we don’t have to worry about a gift for your ex-husband, the boys you'll meet before Dec. 25, and that doubtful “fourth” boy flopping around. (He worries me.) Whatever you choose, don’t over-spend. You could splurge a little on the best prospect whom you'll surely see on Christmas night. Dating three-or-four-boys means that nome of you are serious emough to buy ex-

steps and operations. This will give you more time for the essentials. Look over your equipment.] Some of it may be obsolete or worn out. If you do some maintenance work see that your hand tools are sharp and in good order. A little effort put on filing a saw or purchasing a few nails and screws of the right size can save time and increase your efficiency. After you have done these things see if you have gained enough time to do most of your duties. If you are still hopelessly swamped, go to your émployer and tell him what you have been trying to do and what success you have had. It is my opinion that you will find that you can rearrange your schedule and that it won't be necessary to talk to your boss about it.

MEMO TO a couple of armed robbers: “Don’t try to hold up the Carroliton Liquor Store tonight.” That's the advice of owner Nathan Resnick, who has taken special precautions against a third robbery at his place, 724 E. 10th St. “You'll regret it if you do,” he warned. “I'm tired of playing patsy for a souple of thugs.” ” n MR. RESNICK’S liquor store has been held up twice in the past two nights by a couple of thugs with guns. “If they think that three times is the charm, I hope they come around tonight.” Mr. Resnick won't divulge what special precautions he has taken but hints that it is something “real special.”
