Teen Problems—

Avoid Crude Party Behavior

8 Cid) fi

By JEAN . THE FOOTBALL fellows are the big men on campus, aren’t they? And how they stick together. Now, teamwork is wonderful —in its place. But the gridiron heroes needn't carry football tactics into their social lives. Even see a gang of big shots at a party? They go stag, usually. And they swarm in, en masse, giving the shindig a snooty once-over. Maybe they stay 10 minutes or perhaps they condescend to last the party out. In either case, they seldom dance duty dances; they practically never offer to escort the gals home. » = .

WE'VE POINTED out before that a lad who accepts a party invitation automatically assumes a responsibility. He tacitly agrees to dance with a reasonable number of girls. He is expected to be courteous and co-operative, to stay the minimum one-hour limit and to make his adieus correctly. And a smooth operator knows that seeing the gals home is part of the act, too. Cultivating party responsibility is good sense, guys. Yes, even for you big shots. When
