Players Adopt Cover Design
"Junior Civic Group Offers New Programs
Something new has been added to the Junior Civic Theater. Thea cover for its play programs this season is brand new and it boasts an original design, In former years the younger set has had to be content with plain covers on their programs. This season one of the members of the group—Colette Stuebe—prepared a sketch for the cover and the theater members voted to have it engraved and printed. Now the Junior Civic has a souvenir that rivals the programs of the adult civic unit. Colette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Stuebe. She has worked in the Junior Civic for several years as a “behind the scenes’ helper.
Active Backstage
Scene painting, costuming and marionette designing have been her contributions to the success of this unique program for grade and high school students. This year she worked out a drawing of a fairy princess and her Prince Charming for the program book. Colette began her art studies in School 76 and is continuing them in Shortridge High School. She's assistant technical. director of the Junior Civic Theater and
presented in the theater. The play will run tomorrow and Sun-
