free public book discussions for
the winter season on Oct. 3. Each group meets every two weeks following its scheduled opening date. «Before the men and their captive beasts can leave the jungle, a giant gorilla comes into the camp, releasing the animals and raising havoc with the men. The cowboys mount their horses and attempt to lasso the monster, but the beast merely tosses them aside. When the giant is about to dispatch the leader of the
expedition, Robert Armstrong, a girl runs into the clearing and orders the gorilla to stop. The beast obeys. The girl, Terry Moore, is the animal's master.
