STORE FLOWER SEEDS FOR SPRING PLANTING During the fall of the year it is interesting to collect the seeds of the different plants in your flower garden. If you did not do any more than explore the contents of each “seed cradle,” it would be interesting to see what kinds of seeds are produced and how many, Some tiny plants produce large seeds, and some tall plants grow thousands of tiny seeds, ’ 3 To collect and save the seeds it is necessary to be sure that they ‘are perfectly dry and are mature, In selecting the seed choose onl ‘the largest.and finest blooms, and be sure not to mix them weeds or other varieties. To To prevent mixing, place the seeds in envelopes, pill boxes, small bottles, or jars. It is important that you label them by lettering or drawing a picture of the blossom on a small tag and pasting it on the container. If paper envelopes or boxes are used, they should be put in tin boxes or large jars. The fruits of your foresight will be reaped next summer.—TOMORROW-—Paint and Pin Up Paper Pennants. - E
