Tum-tum-a-tum, when we hear the roll of a drum we all wish that we could get those drum sticks in our hands and beat rhythm of our own. That is possible if you can find an old innertube and one number ten can. dian tom-tom with a leather hide.for.a head, it gives a pleasing tone. To make the drum heads from an innertube select an old one that still has a lot of stretch in it and cut it in two. After you have cut out a ten-inch section, split it on the inside so that it will flatten. Make a ten-inch circle with crayons or chalk by drawing around a pan lid and cut it out with scissors. Cut two of these circles and punch holes around the edge with a paper punch about one inch in from the border, and one and one-half inches apart.
