LA PORTE, Ind. Sept. 10 (UP) liens of $189,432.08 the property of a La
fortune in the trucking business during the war were on file today here and at Valparaiso, The liens were filed Aug. 31,
Collector of Internal Revenue for Indiana, against Lawrence Marks. The liens said taxes, penalties and interest were due for al seven-year period beginning in 1942. The annual amount ranged from $14,139.72 in 1944 to $38,-| 417.98 in 1945, Mr, Marks was said to own a 480-acre farm east of Wanatah in La Porte County. The farm was| assessed at $17,200 and its equip-| ment at $13,216.
