Programs to Feature Special Flower Shows

To Be Displayed by Beech Grove Group Flower shows will be the subjects for most garden

club programs this week. Dahlias, African violets, and roadside flowers will all|

help to carry out the theme of Sunshine Garden Club's fall flower festival—“Beauty Blooming in Beech Grove.” It will be on Wednesday at the Beech Grove city hall, A display of African violets in various stages of propagation from leaf cuttings is being prepared by Mrs. O. N, Haines and Mrs. Edward Wanek, club president. Another of the many exhibits, nearly 100 named varieties of dahlias, will be shown through the co-operation of A. R. Underwood, Beech Grove florist, and Mrs. Thomas Wendt is preparing a table of native roadside flowers. A prevue tea with presidents of other garden clubs and show judges as guests is in charge of Mrs, Joe Buckingham and her committee, Mesdames Charles Adams, Amel Williams, 8. P. Wonnell, and E. E.
