Among 3 Traffic Accident Victims

An Indiana University law student, the wife of a State Fair and a Ladoga resident were killed and two others were critically injured in three separate highway accidents last

t. The victims were: Charles Wilbur Hay, 25, New Albany. , ‘Mrs. Leona Tomson, 73, Wabash. ‘ . Donald E. McCoy, 25, Ladoga. Mr, Hay was fatally injured when the car in which he was riding went out of control during, an attempt to pass another| vehicle on Ind. 62 four miles south of Charlestown in Clark] County last midnight. He was} thrown out and under the car as it rolled over.

Companion Hurt

A companion, Robert Henry, 25, of New Albany, was Injured and was taken to the Clark County Hospital In Jeffersonville ‘Mrs. Tomson was killed and| her husband, Arthur, seriously injured in a headon collision on Ind, 31 near Noblesville. They were driving to their home in Wabash from the Indiana State| Falr, where he served as swine judge. Their northbound car col-|

lided with one driven by Emmett}

R. Garner, 33, Indianapolis, who} also was injured. Mr, Garner was in Hamilton County Hospital, Noblesville, with a fractured knee and Internal injuries. His condition was critical. Mr. Tomson, removed to a Wabash hospital today, was suffering from a fractured hip, broken nose and severe shock. Mr, McCoy died instantly from a broken neck when his motorcycle failed to make a curve and went out of control en Ind. 234, three miles west of Jamestown at 10:50 p. m. ~ «lb ger on -the cycle, __Arnold Yeagler, 33, also of La doga, was not Injured. *
