ROLL A WHEEL WITH A PUSHER When I was a boy a favorite pastime of the children In our neighborhood was pushing an old wheel around with a w en This may not sound too interesting, but the control of the wheel is quite a feat and will challenge any child to master its speed °
Any old wagon or tricycle willprovide the necessary wheel, and the cross stick can be made in a very few minutes; A light lath or stick, a little heavier than a yard stick, will make the handle, and a cross piece of the material should be nailed on so that a’ “T” is Use small nails, and clinch them to form a strong joint. To start the wheel rolling slant the pusher handle, and roll the wheel against it as you start moving forward following the wheel. As.it'moves along guide it from behind with the cross piece and turn it is desired. Try pushing it in circles, along boards, and see’ if you can make it jump over objects. .
