dows, the porthole style window in the coat closet, and the large chimney on the front of the house, make this an outstanding little home, #8 = . | 8 YOU ENTER the front door | = = through a protected front porch, | The first thing that strikes your attention are ‘two curved walls in place of the customary _ straight ones. The one on the - right houses a coat closet, and the one on the left compliments it nicely. The living room is large with an attractive field stone fireplace on the front wall, Two corner windows. on the opposite side add to the beauty of this | room. There is another little | closet in the living room for the | storage of card tables and other | similar bulky items. You go directly from this room to the | dining room. This is shown as | more or less open but if desired, there could be a foldtng or -sliding door separating these 2 rooms.

” ” » YOU LEAVE the dining room and pass the service entrance into a small but very compact kitchen. The sink is placed in a unique position in front of the two corner windows, and there is quite a bit of space back of the sink and underneath these windows for potted plants and flowers. There is work space on both sides of the sink and another work counter next to the refrigerator and directly opposite the range, One doorway from this kitchen leads into a breezeway offering a completely covered passageway from the kitchen to the garage. Some of the people who have built this home have enclosed this breezeway with glass to provide an additional dining area that is pleasant and cool in the summer, as well as warm and cozy in the winter. Heating this extra room presents a slight problem, but nothing that a good heating contractor cannot easily solve.
