SWING THE SPOOL INTO THE cup

Here is a game that is lots of fun, and you can make it in as few minutes, If you have an old tin ¢up or measuring: cup, an} empty spool, and a length of cord or heavy string, you can make’ your spool-in-cup game, With a hammer and nail punch a hole at: the rim of the cup opposite the handle, and tie one end of a 38-inch} cord through the punched hole. Now push the opposite end throughs the hole in a spool, and tie a large knot. The cord may be most anylength from two to five feet long, but if it ix used by children sick’ in bed, it should be short, To play the game hold the cup by the’ handle and with the spool hanging by the cord, swing it evenly up; into the air, attempting to catch it in the cup. Two or more peoples may play this game by keeping score, allowing each player three. attempts on a turn, with 10 points rR game. TOMORROW--Play: Cowboy on a Barrel Nag. i
