Attucks High Seniors Plan Class Night

Butler Band To Play Benefit At Manual H. S.

The senior graduating class of Orisbus Attucks Migh School will hold June Senior Class Night activities at 8 p. m, Friday in the school auditorium.

Reunion in '52 will be the theme of a play to be presented during the program. Cast members will include Lillian Brown, Elnor Storey, Vivian Jones, Madie Thomas, Martha Turner, Russell Rochester, John Wilson, Lillian Pope, Louise Mays, Gloria Phelps, Maurice Edelen, Horace Peterson, William Clark, Delores Bartee, Marjorie Hogans, Charles Mosely, Doris Mallory, Gloria Oglesby, Ottie Woods, Mary Tolliver, Barbara O'Bannon, Frances Lipscomb, Doris Bates, Bernice Dabney, Joan Horner, Nora Ware, Nellis Solomon, Kenneth Reed, Bessie Whitted, Overton and Robert Barrett, AT MANUAL, the 75 piece Butler University band will give a benefit performance in the school auditorium at 8 p. m. Wednesday to raise money for the Manual Band uniform fund. The Butler Color Guard and Majorettes will also take part in. the program, and Manual band members will display their new slate gray whipcord uniforms for the first time. During the ceremonies, Jerry Richeson, Manual pupil, will be awarded the ‘Lon: L. Perkins music eftation, and Tom Garden, student band director, will receive the Band Alumni award. Retiring. members of the Manual Student Affairs Board and new officers took part in a “get “acquainted” party recently held at the school.
