Ex-Employee Faces

Embezzlement Charge A former employee of Universal Portrait Studios, 228 E. 10th St, accused of embezzling $650 in collections, was bound BB to the grand jury today by Municipal Court Judge Howard. Bond for the employee, Cecil Ellis, 2509 College Ave., was set at $500. The studio owner, Jack Baker, signed a warrant charging Ellis with embezzlement on May 7. Ellis was returned here from Galesburg, Ill, on May 10.
