Mary Jane finished 33 months of work in Anchorage, Alaska, with the Civil Aeronautic Administration on Apr. 30. She is leaving today for her new post in Bangkok, Siam. The Indianapolis girl, the . daughter of the Rev, and Mrs. Daniel Custer Sommers, 918 Congress Ave. will be the first woman in the CAA's new international field office in BangKok. Now, although there will be no more fishing through the ice, moose trailing or taking river boat trips down the Yukon, Mary Jane is looking forward to the change. She spent her time in Indianapolis buying an entire new wardrobe. She didn't own one cotton dress when she was in Alaska. And there are 15 packed in her trunk for the hot country. She is leaving behind her ski suits and has several bathing suits ready to take their place. Mary Jane will fly from San Francisco and have stop-overs in Honolulu and Manila to visit the international CAA offices there before going on to Siam. She is a graduate of Shortridge High School and Indiana Uni» versity.
