He returned to this country with his wife, a Haganah nurse, in behalf of the United Jewish Appeal and its nationwide campaign for $250 million for relief and reconstruction in Europe and ald to Jews in North Africa. The organization expects more than a quarter million refugees to enter the new state this year. The program of the United Jewish Appeal is being sponsored locally by the Indianapolis Jewish Welfare Federation.
