Laker, who died Sunday. in his home, 829 N. Emerson Ave. A short service at 8:30 a. m. in Kirby Mortuary will precede the

requiem mass. Mr. Laker, who was 47 was an employee of the Woodruff Cleaners. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Little Flower Church and was a veteran of World War L He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma C. Laker; three brothers, John M. and Henry J. Laker, both of Indianapolis, and Fred J. Laker, Toledo, O,; two sisters, Mrs. Omer J. Anderson and Mrs. John W. Keller, and his mother, Mrs. Mary 8. Laker, all of Indianapolis.

Set ‘Shut-In's Day Members of The Shut-In’s Day Association are organizing for observance of Shut-In’s Day on June 5. As part of their activities, members are recommending that Indianapolis residents visit at least two shut-ins on the day set aside in their honor by prociamation of Mayor Feeney.

Rites Tomorrow For Leon Nefoose

Leon Nefoose, 1141 8. Illinois St, operator of a stand in the City Market for many years, died today in his home. He was 53. A native of Salonica, Greece, Mr. Nefoose lived here 29 years. He was a member of the Sephardic organization. Surviving are his wife, Grace; a son, Sol Nefoose; two daughters, Miss Lenora Nefoose and Mrs, Claire Bohard, Indianapolis; itwo sisters, Mrs. Rachel Naar and
