Johnson, matron of honor, and Miss Susie Smolenski, maid of henor, will wear frocks of green taffeta with off-the-shoulder effects and edged with eyelet ruffles. Full marquiset skirts will fall over the taffeta. They are accented with polonaise drape and streamers down the backs. Stokely traveled to Tennessee to see her son-in-law, Austin Brown, ride in the chase and have a visit with their daughter, Sally. The Browns are living in Tryon, N. C, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Woodard and Cornelius Alig Jr. are in Nashville. Also in Nashville are Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Alig and Mr. and Mrs. Burford Danner. The Jack Brandts are attending the Iroquois race. Mrs. Ruckelshaus Returns from Aiken Mrs. ‘Conrad Ruckelshaus is back from wintering in Afken, 8. C. She spent most of her time there riding. She attended the Maryland Hunt Club Steeplechase with her husband on the way back to Indianapolis. Now Mrs. Ruckelshaus is busy planning for the Royalton event, She is head of the entertainment committee which will arrange parties for the out-of-town riders. Mrs, Neva C. McCoy returned this week from Germany. She was the guest in Heidelberg of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Eddleman. The Eddelmans, formerly of Indianapolis, are with the occupation government in Germany. While abroad, Mrs, McCoy also saw Mr. and Mrs. Lester Burgess, who are living in Efflinger, Germany, The Burgesses are another Indianapolis couple who are working with the U. 8, government. Mrs. McCoy took a week-end trip to Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps and spent Easter in Paris. She motored to Lucerne and was in Holland for Bulb Sunday--the day when the tulips, hyacinths and narcissi are at their best.
