By JIMMIE ANGELOPOLOUS The three-week long editing of the THSAA’s track and field record books for 1949 will begin tomorrow. The first rough draft will be drawn up at 13 centers| on Friday the 13th. Any superstitious state of mind | existing among members of the | state’s 260 teams, however, will find the 3350 athletes concentrat-| ing solely on two objectives: Rewriting of the sectional records and looking ahead to next week's innovation, the regionals. : Athletes at the 13 centers throughout the state opening the first-round tomorrow will be followed by performances at three other centers Saturday. Saturday's sectionals will include those at Terre Haute, Kokomo and Huntington. Two other sectional centers—Elkhart and Evansville— will engage in twilight activity beginning at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow.
