Almost Ready to Celebrate 60th Anniversary

John Greenleaf Whittier School No. 33, 1119 Sterling 8t., has been an integral part of Indianapolis’ East Side community for almost 60 years.

In less than a year it was completed. The new portion contained six classrooms and an assembly hall, and was connected at the rear of the original building by a hallway.
