They had a dance floor set up and the trees were dotted with lanterns. Kay Kyser sent an orchestra which played from the terrace, ~ In Europe the Daniels’ party will spend most of the two months in Italy. Also sailing on the Elizabeth are Mr. and Mrs. Earl B. They will start their tour in the Milano Lake district and then go to Florence and the Italian hill towns, Before returning to the States, the Barnes will stop at Inter- - locken, Lucerne and Paris,

Mr. ‘and Mrs, Kuhn Visit in Rome Already in Rome are Mr, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Kuhn, 4103 N, Illinois 8t. Mr. and Mrs. J, Francis Huffman, 117 N. DeQuincy St., will fly the end of June for London and Paris. Among those whose summer plans are still in the tentative stage are Bertita and Jack Harding, 3545 Evergreen Ave. Mrs. Harding is planning a quick trip to Mexico before a summer expedition abroad with her husband. One of the most exciting summer trips will be made by Dr. and Mrs, Clarence B. LaDine, 4221 KE. 35th St. They will go later in the season to the St. Lucia Estates, Zululand, Africa. There they will be the guests of F. A. Mitchell-Hedges, internationally known explorer, Dr. LaDine met Mr. Mitchell-Hedges when he set up a hospital on the Mitchell-Hedges estate in Bouth England during the war. While abroad the LaDines will go to Lisbon, Madrid, Rome, Athens ~ and Cairo.

Mrs. Toffolo, Wanda to Sail in June Mrs. Louis Toffolo and her daughter, Wanda, 2000 E. 17th 8t,, will sail in June. Their European travels will be mainly in Germany and Italy.
