I would rather lie to him than lose the man I love. : BLONDIE, CITY. You're a good girl, Blondie, or you wouldn't be sorry. Put the mistake behind you and become a nomemaker, certain that you can do a good job. Hanging your head in shame won't make you a good wife— you'll have to do some good in the world. Pitying yourself and selfishly concentrating on yourself won't make you a good

sistible. One man prefers brunets, another blonds. One may like a girl to be vivacious, another may prefer a more reserved type. Some men like the outdoor girl. Others are more comfortable with. the bookish sort. So the chances are yuu won't appeal to every man you meet, no matter how attractive you may be. Even when a man dates you occasionally, he still may not regard you as the sort of person he wants for a wife. And this, without any reflection on you. You're simply not his type. Of course, by widening your interests and increasing your
"skills and activities, you'll appeal
to a greater variety of men, since you will have. more in common with them. If you are an athletic type of girl, for example, and read widely as well, you'll attract not only the sports loving man, but the more bookish person. If, on the other hand, you confine yourself largely to books, music, and intellectual pursuits, you may be overlooked in the summer by those who want to date a girl who can swim, play tennis, or golf. But no matter what you do, you probably won’t attract every man you would like to. 8o don’t be disheartened! Practically every girl is in the same boat at one time or another. Q—Is it wise to splurge on your honeymoon? A—No. You're more apt to be in for a let-down when you return. : Some couples think it romantic to have an expensive and elaborate honeymoon even though it's not in keeping with their general financial condition. But such a honeymoon may defeat its very purpose—which is to allow the pair the easiest transition into married life. The couple who returns from luxurious honeymoon quarters to live in an extremely modest apartment, for example, may be disillusioned by the sharp contrast. Then the bride and groom may find it more difficult to make necessary adjustments to their new home and to their new way of life,

Loves Younger Man I'm very much in love with a fellow 10 years younger than I, and he's in love with me. But his family and friends think it's just awful that I, as they put it, “an old woman,” should take advantage over so young a man. In the first place, I don't think I am exaetly old—only 35. He is 25. Next, I always thought the most important thing in a happy marriage is that two people are in love, not in difference in ages. What do you think? @ YOUNG MAN BLUES, Two people deeply in love are oblivious to outsiders’ ‘opinions. If they're unselfish people, as they must be to love sincerely, their only worry is deserving the love of the other person. You'd ignore the age difference if you were sure of your love for the man, and of his love for you. If the whispering that people do mow is bothering you, you'd better find a man your age. Every new wrinkle appearing will worry you to death with a young h band. :

it very much if you could ad- | vise me on getting work of this sort. I would like to know what they pay. ‘By JAMES GRAYSON I suggest that you take samples of your work to three or four commercial photographers to see if they would consider your doing some photo-coloring for them, If they are skeptical offer to color a picture or two at no charge. The important thing is to get a start.
If you have any personal job problems, write to James Grayson, in care of The Times.
If no one is interested find out! why. Also make inquiry at places where photographic supplies are sold. Let them see samples of your work. If you have another job stay on it and do the coloring as a side-line until you can at least find out what your chances are. You have two things to find out. First—is there a market for photo-coloring? Second—are you| good enough at it? Don’t give! up until you have found out these two things.
