Two Others Slugged By Hitchhiking Hoodlums Here
An Indianapolis physician was held up by a “gentleman” hitchhiker and two business partners; were slugged and robbed when they gave a pair of pedestrians a “lift” early today. Dr. John W. Geller, 42, of 6130 Kingsley Dr., told police he saw a man thumbing a ride when he stopped at a signal light at 38th St. and Central Ave, and gave the man a lift. : He had driven two blocks when the well-dressed soft-voiced hitchhiker pulled a gun and took $58 from the doctor’s billfold. He then forced Dr. Geller to drive to West-|§ field Boulevard and the Canal|! where he left the car and fled on|: foot. ?

Sutherlin of Putnam County.
