The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur G. Smith, 3061 Guion Road, and Mr, Smith is the son of Mrs. Laura Githens Smith, Chicago, and Albert DickInson 8mith, 2712 W, 30th St. Miss Janie Lou Harris, Evansville, was the maid of honor. She wore ‘Lorraine green taffeta and carried a basquet of vellow jonquils, The bridesmaids, Mrs. Robert H. Weedon and Miss Mary Ann’ Smith, wore maize taffeta and carried basquets of green carnations and ivy leaves.
Reception Follows Church Ceremony
The bride's white taffeta gown had a net yoke and bertha collar trimmed in Chantilly lace. Her full hooped skirt with hip peplum was edged with the same lace and fell into a cathedral length train. She had an illusion veil Her bouquet was made of white tulips, lilacs and freezias H.
